Cognitive enhancement therapy

Cognitive enhancement therapy

Cognitive enhancement therapy (CET) uses a combination of medicines, computer-based exercises, and group therapy to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, serious depression, and some forms of autism. Computer-based exercises focus on increasing memory, attention span and learning ability. Group exercises help to improve problem-solving skills and the ability to relate to other people.

CET can improve social skills and help people learn to function better with and around other people.
